Art Deco Exotic Leaf Chrome Dress Clip 1930s to 1940s (1)

This is a very stylish dress clip dating from the late 1930's to the early 1940's.  It is made of shiny chromed metal - this was all the rage in the Art Deco period.  The design has one layer of the chromed base which has a fine textured finish and an oval cut out. Trailing out of the oval is a huge, detailed exotic leaf. Fastening with a good snappy back clip with claws on both the back and the clip this dress clip is a most versatile piece of costume jewellery from the Art Deco era. It is in great condition and measures just over 4.5cms top to bottom and about 3cms across at its widest points.
