Art Deco Dress Clip - 1930's Red Crystal in Chromed Metal (SOLD)

Three bright red glass crystal jewels are all that are needed to make this Art Deco dress clip stand out!  Each of the jewels has been faceted in an emerald cut and has eight sides.  These bright red jewels are held securely in place by large flat chrome claws which are typical of Art Deco 1930s styling.  The metal has a nice shiny chrome finish and the art deco styling continues even on to the back clip which is rectangular with two pairs of cut out lines and six individual claws.  The back clip holds this piece of jewellery in place and it also has the word 'TCHECOSLOVAQUIE' imprinted on it.  Many good quality hand set glass jewellery pieces were made in Bohemia including Czechoslovakia in the 1930s.

 In excellent condition, this vintage dress clip measures 35cms by 10 cms wide and fastens with a tight snapping clip.  Wear your dress clip on a hat band, neckline , in the buttonhole or on a lapel. This is ideal for your vintage wardrobe or your antique jewellery collection.  Another great idea for the Christmas season is to use it to decorate a bow  tied to the wrapping on a very special gift or even to use a few dress clips attached to the Christmas Tree to make unique Christmas Decorations!
