Art Deco Chrome Dress Clip with Blue Jewelled Stones (SOLD)

This is a very stylish dress clip dating from the late 1920,s to the early 1930's.  It is made of Bohemian pressed filigree with a chromed finish - this was all the rage in the Art Deco period.  The design has two layers of the chromed filigree work or 'gurtlering' and has a lovely large sapphire blue hexagon shaped stone in the centre.  It is further enhanced by five more sapphire blue crystal flat back pastes. Fastening with a good snappy back clip this dress clip is a most versatile piece of costume jewellery from the Art Deco era. It is in excellent condition and  measures approx 1.75inches in length and almost three quarters of an inch across at its widest point.
