SOLD Amethyst Glass Art Deco Style Necklace - Circa 1960s

If purple is your colour you will like this Vintage Paste Necklace.  The design takes you straight back to the Art Deco 1930s times.  Infact  this amethyst glass necklace is a retro piece, dating from the 1960's Art Deco Revival which makes it around 50 years old. It has a stepped design with a central drop of seven sparkly mauve claw set crystals flanked on each side by decending rows of purple claw set crystals, first 6, then 5, then 4, then two lots of 2 ,one and so on.....to finish. The overall effect is super and the necklace is very pretty.  This vintage necklace is in great order with all stones sparkly and perfect.  The only sign of its age is the bolt ring clasp itself which is a slightly different colour to the chain but still functions perfectly.  This vintage diamante necklace is finished in silvertone which contrasts perfectly with the lovely mauve crystals. Measuring just 1 inch at the longest drop and 16 inches in length including the bolt ring clasp this is a classic vintage necklet.
