A Golden Celtic Cross Vintage Scarf Ring - Faux Jewels
Here we have a vintage scarf ring or scarf toggle in the form of a cross. This is striking with a Celtic design border in a gold-tone finish set with a five glass jewels. This cabouchon round central glass jewel and the four square jewels which make up the points of the cross have a soft shiny brown finish, a lot like a natural Tiger Eye stone. Very effective and reminiscent of the so called 'Pebble' jewellery so loved by Queen Victoria . It has darkened areas which have been added during the manufacturing process to give an antique finish to the piece. This vintage scarf ornament closes with a ring clip to hold your scarf in place. This distinctive scarf ornament measures 4.5cms by 4.5cms. This scarf clip is in excellent condition and I would estimate that this scarf ring dates to the 1970s.
