1960's Popcorn Pearl Cluster Earrings on Gold on Silver Earwires

Fab 1960's 'popcorn  pearl clusters' on their original gilt metal droppers have been carefully put on to new gold on silver earwires.  Each earring consists of five perfect creamy faux pearls linked together - there is one large pearl of approximately half an inch in diameter, two medium beads of approximately 1 cm in diameter and two smaller pearly beads approx quarter of an inch in diameter. Each earring , including the wire, has a drop of approx 2.5 inches. The earrings are pictured on our life-sized mannekin, Ellie, a retro shop fitting which is perfect for modelling old jewellery!  These unique 1960's earrings have been suspended onto brand new handmade Balinese vermeil earwires. Chosen for their delightful decoration,  these gold on silver earwires are reminiscent of antiquarian etruscan gold jewellery.  Pearls are a traditional choice for wedding jewellery and these earrings would be a very special accessory for a bride; earrings that she could wear again for special occasions. These earrings are in excellent condition.
