1960's Looped Beadwork Bag

This is a great bag from the 1960's with row upon row of pearly white seed beads all over and a pattern of stylised leaves picked out in white bugle beads on both sides. Retailed by Salisburys, the label inside the bag declares it to be 'Empire Made' and it has been branded 'Pandora'!  This evening purse has a padded off white satin lining with a little pocket inside which was intended to hold a mirror.  This vintage bag can be used on its chain handle but also has a connector to enable the handle to be placed inside the bag to convert to a clutch purse.  The frame and chain are a goldtone and the bag shuts with a 'kissing' type clasp.  Measuring 5 inches by 6.5 inches there is room inside for most items a Bride might wish to carry on her wedding day.
