1960's Large Faux Pearl Dropper Earrings on Vermeil Earwires (ON HOLD)
These faux pearl droppers date from circa 1960 and they have been remounted by us on to new gold on silver earwires that are hand made by Balinese jewellers. We use these gorgeous earwires from Bali because they have the style and detail of antiquarian earrings. This is a unique pair of pierced fitting earrings in good condition. The creamy pearl droppers measure approximately 1.5 inches in length with a diameter of half an inch at the broadest part. The whole earring has a drop of just over two and a quarter inches. The earrings are pictured on our life-sized mannekin, Ellie, a retro shop fitting which is perfect for modelling old jewellery! The vermeil earwires are pristine, as you would expect and the pearly coating is in good condition with one or two tiny dents which in no way detract from their beauty. These earrings make a stunning statement yet are light and easy to wear. Perfect bridal jewellery but equally useful for parties, balls and special occassions!
