1960s Golfing Spoon - Sterling Silver
Here is an unusual sterling silver Golf spoon. It is tea spoon sized, being a little over 4.5 inches with a nice deep bowl being about 1 inch wide. The silver spoon has a lovely weight to it. The decorative part of the spoon has a circular top with a good image of a golfer taking a swing this is surrounded by a laurel wreath. The circular golfing plaque sits on top of an art nouveau style plinth a top a reeded column. There is a full Birmingham hallmark for the year 1969 confirming that the spoon is Sterling Silver and a makers mark of WHD for W H Darby and sons Limited.
This Silver Golf Spoon is offered in very good condition with just the patina of the years which could soon be cleaned off with a soft silver cloth. The spoon is in its original plain cardboard box which has some marks to it.
