1960's Floral Rose Compact - as new Boots brand
Here is a pretty and practical Vintage Compact in immaculate condition. Compact hardly show and the overall condition is very good - I don't think that this old collectable Compact has ever been used! The front shows three lovely flowers - a pink rose and white and yellow anemone type blooms surrounded by green leaves and yellow and orange foliage. The compact is golden metal with machine engraved concentric circles to the reverse. The Compact is finished in goldtone and the mirror, is in good order too. The Compact looks as if it was designed to take both block powder and loose powder which dates it to the 1960's. The original powder net, and Boots brand paper is with it too. The paper declares this: “Creme Powder Boxes Will take most Creme powders. To fit, push refill into box. To remove, insert Nail file in the bottom recess on the right hand side.” The Compact has a diameter of 3 inches and is about five tenths of an inch thick.
