1950s Sparkly Brooch in Shades of Purple (SOLD)
Here is a super vintage brooch dating from the 1950s and in Excellent condition. The brooch has a stylised floral design and is set with lovely large Navette shaped Amethyst coloured jewels. This large rhinestones or diamantes are foil backed to reflect the light and there are twelve individual large jewels in place. There are a further 37 round small lilac or light mauve jewels in the design, used in blocks. These glass crystal gems have all been carefully claw set by hand into a white metal, rhodium plated brooch. This is a vintage brooch which is pretty enough for bridal wear and stylish enough to add to a collection of 1950s costume jewellery. Measuring approximately 3 inches by 2 inches this vintage brooch set with faux amethyst stones has a back pin with secure roll over type fastener. The jewels used in the brooch are so sparkly that they are probably Austrian crystal of great quality. Add this piece of vintage jewelry to your collection or use it for you wedding jewellery.
