1950s Spanish Lady with Mantilla Comb and Fan signed Miracle Earrings

Here we have a pair of vintage signed Miracle clip on earrings which are exceptionally special and quite rare. This delightful Spanish Ladies with Mantilla Hair Combs and Fans ear clips is an early, collectible pair dating to the late 1940s - early 1950s.  Manufactured by the English costume jewellery makers A.J. Hill of Solihull, Birmingham and produced for their famous “Miracle” brand. Each earring has a whimsical Spanish woman peeping from behind her fan, her hair held in place by a Comb - Flamenco dancers maybe or perhaps more modest girls! The fantastic clip earrings are 1.5cms wide with a length of 2.5cms - there is a £1 coin in the photo to help you gauge their dimensions.  The jewellery is cast in a base metal, finished with a darkened Pewter effect. They feature textured work and layering and have great detail with a good 3-D relief. The Earrings have a very comfy and robust spring clip fitting. They are marked “Miracle” on the reverse but it is a little hard to see these marks as they fall just above the point where the ear clip has been attached.. Offered in excellent  vintage condition, this pair of earrings would add a touch of fun and style to your vintage jewellery collection.
