1950's Glass Beadwork Necklace and Earclips (Sold)

This gorgeous vintage collar style necklace is made up of frosted amber coloured glass beads in round and leaf shapes interspersed with a variety of white glass round beads.  It has been twinned with a pair of white glass clip on earrings which have leaf and rounded beads in a flower shape.    This necklace and earring suite is from West Germany and is typical of the decorative vintage jewellery produced there post world war 2, it probably dates from the late 1950s to the early 1960's.  The metal parts on the back of the earclips and on the chain link and hook are silvertone and the hook on the necklace is marked 'M I Western Germany' for 'Made in Western Germany'.  The necklace measures approximately 15 inches in length by a little over an inch wide and the earrings are three quarters of an inch in diameter. This collar necklace and earrings has been photographed on Ellie, my life size model, so you can see how good they look on!  The set is in good vintage order.
