1950's French Clear and Grey Lucite Buttons on Original Card
There are two dozen useful buttons on offer here. How delightful to get lots of lovely buttons on their original card! It is always great for vintage fashion collectors to discover items, unused, like this. The card describes the buttons as "Le Bouton qui Plait" so it is a safe bet to say they have been made in France. They appear to be Lucite (clear acrylic Perspex) with a central grey dot for stylish effect. The photos make them look a bit like glass teddy's eyes, but they are really little flat discs of lucite with a separate grey rounded bit in the middle! Each little button is approx 2cms in diameter. The price is for the card of 24.
