1950s Diamante Necklace with 3 large square stones - Bridal necklace(SOLD)

Diamante necklaces from the glamorous 1950s era are much in demand and they don't come nicer or sparklier than this lovely vintage necklace. Seventy individual cut crystal diamante stones make up the necklace.  There are 67 facet cut round jewels and 3 large square diamante stones in all.  Every sparkling jewel has been claw set by hand, with the three large square 'diamonds' open set and the rest in closed setting in a rhodium plated white metal. This vintage necklace is in fabulous condition just as good as the day that it was made!  The square stones would match up very nicely to the  Princess cut diamonds so popular in today's engagement rings and stud earrings.  This diamante necklace measures 15 inches in length and fastens with a bolt ring type clasp.  The photos show the necklace on my life size vintage lady model so you can see how it looks on.
