1950s Diamante Brooch - Abstract Effect Flower and Branch (sold)

Add a touch of sparkle to any outfit with this lovely 1950s brooch.  This vintage pin is an abstract style but comprises a flower design made up of baguette and round shaped jewels. Around this jewel flower there are three branches which give a leaf effect and these are all set with fabulous baguette cut stones.  There are 48 individual diamante crystals in this vintage brooch and every one would have been claw set by hand. The brooch has a chromed metal finish and is in excellent condition. To the back of this vintage 1950s brooch there is a white metal pin and the closure is a 'c' type retainer. Measuring 7.5cm by 7.5cms at its widest points this is a great size for a lapel and would be very suitable for bridal wear too. It could be used as a jewel for the hair if attached to a suitable hair slide or band.
