1940s Sparkly Necklace with Large Aqua Jewels on Diamante - Top Quality SOLD
Here is a really beautiful sparkling necklace from the 1940s era. It oozes Hollywood Glamour with its huge, aqua blue jewels! Definitely a special occasion necklace, this piece would be absolutely perfect for a bride. It is a 1940s original diamante set necklace which uses the oval blue jewels as its focal point. This vintage necklace consists of a dozen aqua blue jewels to the centre with the rest of the necklace having over 70 round white diamantes all claw-set in place in a Rhodium plated white metal. The claw setting is unusual as it combines a very deep squared cup with triangular pointed sides. Each of the jewels would have been set by hand and this is a top quality piece. This sparkling necklace measures a fraction over 15 inches in length and it fastens with a bolt ring type clasp. In excellent condition this pretty necklace is one you shouldn't miss,
