1940s Dress Clip - Two Love Birds in Dark Carved Wood

This is a great example of a 1940's dress clip.  It is a hand-carved dress clip depicting two love birds on a branch.  The wooden birds on this vintage dress clip are facing each other. The wood has been deep-carved to portray their wings, tails and beaks.  They have little amber and black glass eyes - just like those you see on antique teddy bears!
