1940s Dress Clip - Leaf Shape Navy Blue Casein Dress Clip

Dress Clips from the 1940s are among my favourite type of early plastic jewellery.  This delightful navy blue coloured Casein dress clip would look lovely on the lapel of a jacket or over the neck line of a tee shirt or dress.  This deco era dress clip is made from the early plastic Casein and has been hand carved.  It has a pointed and curved  leaf shape with lines carved in to it to show the veins.   The dress clip has a chromed white metal clip attached to it at the back by two little screws with three little claws to fasten it tight.  The condition of this lovely dress clip is very good - there is a the usual small surface marks to it which is to be expected on items of this age. Size is 2.25 inches by 1.75 inches with a thickness of just one quarter of an inch.  Add this art deco bakelite dress clip to your collection or use it for adding a touch of style to your vintage outfit.
