1940s Dress Clip - Deep Carved Butterscotch Bakelite Dress Clip (SOLD)

Dress Clips from the 1940s are among my favourite type of early plastic jewellery.  This delightful butterscotch yellow dress clip would look lovely on the lapel of a jacket or over the neck line of a tee shirt or dress.  This deco era dress clip is made from genuine Bakelite and have been hand carved.  It has a “v” pointed shape with abstract carving. The dress clip has a chromed white metal clip with three little claws to fasten it tight.  The condition of this piece of Bakelite jewellery is good - there is a tiny touch of rust visible on the metal which could be cleaned. Size is 5 cms by about 1cm  with a thickness of just over 0.5 cms.  Add this art deco bakelite dress clip to your collection or use it for adding a touch of sunshine to your vintage outfit.
