1940s Casein Plastic Double Buckle - Horseshoe and Nails - Equestrian Interest
Here is a very unusual, collectable early Casein plastic double buckle from the 1940s. It will appeal to those who love horses. This two part buckle consists of a detailed black horseshoe that clips to a pair of cream horse shoe nails. It would be a fabulous buckle on a belt as it is a good, large size. Or it could be used as a statement decoration on a hat band or to hold two edges of a cardigan or a cape together too. In excellent condition the early Casein plastic buckle has white metal hook and bars to the reverse. Measurements are (when closed) approximately 8cms wide by 5.5cms wide. Why not add it to your collection of buckles and vintage jewellery?
