1930's/1940's Red Floral Dress Clip (SOLD)

This is a most desirable and collectable early plastic dress clip.   Bright orangey-red in colour this piece of jewellery makes a real statement! This floral dress ornament is very special as it is in mint condition.  Because celluloid can be brittle; and this design of flowers with petals and stamens is delicate; it is usual for pieces in this style to have damage.  The design is three dimentional with the flower heads stacked on top of each other onto a clear plastic base which fits neatly onto a brass clip to fasten it.  The measurements are 1.75 inches by 1.5 inches by 1 inch.  For your vintage outfit, for a collection, for a gift and for fun this is not to be missed!
