1930s Autumn Bohemian Filigree Jewelled Brooch with bright glass jewels

This beautiful  brooch is an open Bohemian filigree piece of a generous size with a magnificent central cut glass stone in an amber yellow colour. The rest of glass  jewels used in this brooch are flat back pastes. They have been carefully selected and placed to give lots of colour.  Each of the jewels have been claw set by hand onto the metal back plate and some are central in four Autumn leaf motif mounts. Colours include blue, red, green and yellow. The bronze coloured metal is pressed filigree which has a slight patina to it and it has a light construction making it sit comfortably on most fabrics without dragging down. This Bohemian brooch  is in very good condition.The brooch is circa 1930s in date and in common with other bohemian brooches of this era the pin is held in place by an old fashioned 'c' shaped pin type clasp.  The brooch is round in shape and is approx 6cms in diameter.
