1930s Art Deco Necklace -Pink Open Set Crystal

This lovely vintage necklace is from the Art Deco period which covers the style of the years between 1915 and 1935.  This necklace is in white chromed metal and pink cut glass crystal. It consists of a pretty dropper with a large raspberry pink oval jewel surrounded by other oval and round gems in the same pink tones. This central feature pendant is  suspended from a row of stones each side in open cage setting. On this necklace each gem is claw and cup set to the front on a neat, fine chain with a bolt ring clasp.  It has the timeless modern appeal that makes original Art Deco jewellery so sought after today.  The necklace is approximately 16 inches in length and the dropper part is slightly over an inch. Offered in very good condition this pretty piece of vintage jewellery is light and delicate and would be very pretty with a summer frock or a more formal ball gown.
