1930's 1940's Pressed Wood Blue Floral Buckle

This buckle dates from the 1930s/40's and is made of a pressed wood compostion.  The predominant colour is rich navy blue with lots of little daisy flowers picked out in white, light blue and red.  It is a good size being approx 2.75 ( 7 cms ) square and it is almost 1cm thick.  It has a brass bar attached by 2 small screws on the back making it suitable to thread a belt through or even to use as a scarf slide.  A great addition to your vintage costume jewellery or buckle collection.
