1920s Silver Watch Fob Medal with Rose Gold Cartouche - Hallmarked Birmingham 1929

Here we have a silver watch fob in a scrolled shield shape with a nice rose gold cartouche.  The cartouche is vacant to enable this fob medal to be personalised if you so wish.  Decorated on one side only this silver fob was made in Birmingham and has the assay office mark for the year 1929 - the letter 'E'.  This nice silver fob also bears the makers mark of a prolific Birmingham jewellers - William Adams Limited whose premises were in Barr Street, Birimingham , England and who's hallmarks have been registered from the year 1907 right up to the year 1991.  Among their output were fob medals, flat ware, candlesticks, tea and coffee services and much more.  They were obviously quality makers as this silver watch fob medal is a really well made item.  It is in very good condition
and measures 3 cms by 2.5 cms.  It has a 'self loop' to the top to enable it to be fastened to a watch chain or used as a bracelet charm or pendant necklace.
