1920's Bohemian Filigree Dress Clip with Square Faux Emerald and Multicoloured Jewels (SOLD)

A lovely jewelled dress clip from the Art Deco era set with a dozen bright twinkly glass gems.  The main jewel is a glass faceted square stone in an emerald green colour. Dotted around this are eleven circular claw set stones or pastes. The claw set jewels vary in size there are three in golden yellow,  four in various shades of blue, three pinks plus one in green.  This gilded brass clip is made of a pressed filigree and has aged  and darkened to an old gold colour.  Jewelry of this kind, with machine-pressed filigree hand-set with glass jewels, often came from Czechoslovakia. This vintage dress clip measures three quarters of an inch wide by 1.75 inches and fastens with a tight snapping clip.  Wear your dress clip on a hat band, neckline , in the buttonhole or on a lapel.
