Vintage Silver and Marcasite Ivy Leaf Brooch (SORRY THIS ITEM IS SOLD)

A lovely sparkly silver brooch from around the 1950's/1960's.  This little vintage Ivy Leaf pin is encrusted with loads of real marcasites. Marcasites are a natural gem, Iron Pyrytes, and have been widely used in precious and costume jewellery since the early 19th Century. They have a soft lustre and twinkly gently. The leaf is marked 'silver' it measures approx 3cms/1inch at its widest point.
