Vintage Brooch - Red Rose with Blue Flower detail

The silk embroidery on this vintage floral brooch is very neat indeed.  Precise stitches pick out an open red rose in bloom with its green leaves and three light blue small flowers too. These are worked on an ivory coloured background and framed in a bright silver-tone chromed metal.  The brooch is in excellent condition and it fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp. Dimensions are almost 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches approx.  As the  red rose is a symbol of true love this would make a great Valentine's Day present!
