This circular brooch is made of Pewter and has the maker’s touch marks on the reverse but they are quite hard to make out! It has a Celtic style to it and features a hybrid creature with an eagle head. The brooch , which has an open centre,has two panels of shell inlaid into it. It is 1.75 inches in diameter and has been made by a casting process. It probably dates from the last 20 years making it a vintage brooch and it is in excellent order.
