Old Mother of Pearl Beads on Chunky 9ct Gold Earwires SOLD

These nice old mother-of-pearl beads are from a late Victorian/Edwardian bead necklace which fell upon hard times!  I have used them to make up a great pair of earrings.  Because the beads were so beautiful I felt they deserved these chunky new 9ct gold earwires to swing from!  Each bead measures just over 2cms in length ( .75 of an inch) by a little over 1 cm ( almost .5 of an inch) across.  They have a wonderful lustre that you only get on truly old beads and they are a "one-off" as they were the largest beads on the necklace and I only have one pair of the gold shepherd's hook wires!
