Here we have a most sought after celluloid moulded and pierced bangle bracelet which was made in Japan between the 1930's and the 1950's. The bracelet is decorated all over with daisy type flowers, leaves and wonderful curly chrysanthemum. The bangle is teamed with a new white satin covered hairband on which we have placed an old 1930's dress trim which matches perfectly. This type of bakelite early plastic jewellery was made to imitate ivory and is very collectable today. The bangle is 2cms wide and a little over 6cms in diameter making it suitable for a small wrist. The antique celluloid trim on the hairband is approximately 5cms by 2cms and the hairband is a standard fit. This set is unique you will not find another like it!
