Square open-set emerald green glass crystals and round open set clear glass crystals are used in a two row design in this delicate necklace. Dating from the Art Deco 1920's to 1930's period this necklace is in superb condition and each row of gems sparkles naturally as they catch the light. Made with care and with every faceted crystal hand-set in a collar and then fastened with claws this necklace is a fabulous example of quality costume jewellery from the past. This deco necklet measures almost 16 inches in length and fastens with a bolt ring clasp. I cannot find any marks on the metal but think it is likely to be silver coated with a platinol finish as are many of the sweet and delicate necklaces of this era.
