This ceramic brooch would make a great gift for a lady golfer. It is a nice collectable vintage brooch with a sporting theme. The oval ceramic brooch depicts a lady in Edwardian costume taking a swing on the golf course. She is dressed up in a picture hat and golfing costume complete with the proper shoes and hose! The Lady Golfer is a transfer printed design in pink on a nice shiny white oval of porcelain. The oval plaque is mounted in a silvered metal frame which fastens with a secure 'roll-over' type clasp. This vintage brooch dates from circa 1970's - 1980's and is marked with a maker's backstamp - 'Caverswell - England'. It measures almost 3 inches by 2 inches and is in great condition.
