This is a lovely two-piece buckle in a classic art nouveau design of curly sinuous flower heads entwined together. The buckle is made of gilded brass with a cold-enamel painted finish in three shades of blue. It will appeal to buckle and button collectors as it still has its original paper tie on price label still in place. I cannot decipher the original cost, as the writing appears to be continental. The piece dating from circa 1900 - 1905 measures a little bit over 2.5inches long and almost an inch wide. It's companion piece is also listed for sale but comes in another colour ( pink and light blue) This price is for one two-piece buckle only in blue colours.
