1970's Textured Velvet Bag - Use as Clutch or with Chain (SOLD)

This bag is a delicious colour - a kind of rich gingery brown. The material is a wavy textured synthetic velvet, so it is good and robust and will last!  Inside it has a plain black nylon lining with a mirror pocket. The velvet fabric is mounted on a lightweight pierced gilt metal frame, with a 'kissing' clasp and a box type soft silvery metal chain handle. The clever bit with this bag is the handle; it will just swing inside completely.Two great bags in one -  you can have an evening bag on a chain or you can have a groovy clutch bag, the choice is yours!  Size is approximately 6 inches by 9 inches with a 14 inch chain. it is quite 'pouchy', so you will fit plenty inside this evening purse! The condition is great, just a little bit of wear inside the frame, but nothing to put you off!  It is circa 1970 in date.
