1960's Sarah Coventry Gilt Brooch with Cultured Pearl


Sarah Coventry was a Canadian designer who introduced 'party plan' jewellery into Great Britain.  This smart pin is a gilt stylised leaf spray set with a cultured pearl and a tumble-polished green gemstone.  Signed on the reverse, it measures approx 4cms/1.5 inches in diameter.  It fastens with a secure roll-over safety clasp.  It would look great on a tweed jacket!
