1950's Black Velvet Clutch Purse with Silver Thread Embroidery (SOLD)

This is a gorgeous small clutch bag from the 1950's.  It was made in India where they had the skill to work with real silver threads to create the lovely embroidered pattern which covers both sides of the bag.  Made of black velvet with a satin lining, it has several pockets inside and its original sew-in label, which says "Ivory Palace", New Dehli, India.  Fastening with a popper, the bag measures just under 20cms (just over 7.5 inches) by 11cms (4.25 inches) and is in good condition.
