This gilt brooch dates from the 1940's but harks back to the Art Nouveau era with its curling leaves and tendrils and open bloom design. Finished in a gold wash, this nice antique brooch has a red glass bead cupped in the centre of an open flower. To the reverse the pin fixes with an old fashioned 'c' type clasp. Measuring approximately 6 cms by 3.5 cms this vintage costume pin is in excellent condition. It would make a neat addition to your jewelry collection or would be simply lovely to brighten up a lapel.
