1930's Bohemian Filigree Dress Clip in Antiqued Silvertone with Bright Jewels (Sold)

A lovely jewelled dress clip from the Art Deco era set with lots of bright twinkly glass gems.   Dotted around this nice antique dress clip are twenty four circular claw set stones or pastes. The claw set jewels vary in size there are six jewels in golden yellow,  six in various shades of blue, six in bright red plus six in greens in this Art Deco Dress Clip.  This silvertone clip is made of a pressed filigree and has a slightly blackened look to the front which gives a more antique effect.The filigree work is open with scrolls and ball decoration and the back of the clip has a good shiny white metal colour to it.  Jewelry of this kind, with machine-pressed filigree hand-set with glass jewels, often came from Czechoslovakia. This vintage dress clip measures three centimetres by four and a half centimetres and fastens with a tight snapping clip with five little 'teeth' which ensure it stays in place.  Wear your dress clip on a hat band, neckline , in the buttonhole or on a lapel. This is ideal for your vintage wardrobe or your antique jewellery collection.
