This is a really nice glass bead necklace from the flapper era. The faceted glass beads are a rich yellow amber tone and they are threaded together on rolled gold wires. The clasp is the 'hook and ring' type so often seen on older necklaces. The beads are each 1.5cms long and about 1cm at their widest middle point. The shape of the beads is oval not round and is more obvious in the third photo. The necklace has been photographed on my Art Deco statuette 'Dawn'. Please remember she is not life size and the total length of the necklace is approx 47cms (18.5ins).
