1920's/1930's Bohemian Filigree Dress Clip - Oval Stone detail (SOLD)

A lovely jewelled dress clip from the Art Deco era set with nine bright twinkly glass gems.  The main jewel is a glass faceted oval stone in a topaz yellow colour. Dotted around this are eight small circular flat-backed pastes - two in golden yellow,  two soft blue, a red one, a pink one a turquoise/green and a true green.  This gilded brass clip is made of a pressed filigree and has aged to an old gold colour.  Jewelry of this kind, with machine-pressed filigree hand-set with glass jewels, often came from Czechoslovakia. This vintage dress clip measures almost an inch wide by 1.5 inches and fastens with a tight snapping clip.  Wear your dress clip on a hat band, neckline , in the buttonhole or on a lapel.
