This two-piece buckle is made from gilded brass filigree set with bright coloured paste stones. It dates from around 1910 - 1920 and fastens with a hook over clasp with 2 bars for sewing onto a belt. All the lovely diamante are bright and cheerful colours; they have been claw-set onto the piece. There is, however, a line of stones that uses different colours to the others, yet I am certain they are original stones. I guess it was just made this way! The whole piece measures 2.5 inches (6.5cms) long by 1.25 ins (3cms) in width.
